i think the whole point of his tweet about it was that he is tired of people telling him how he’s living his life and that he should stop denying that he’s in a relationship with harry and that eleanor is a beard. it’s his life, let him live it how he wants to.

i’m not a hardcore larry shipper, nor am i a larry hater - god knows my favorite fics are dani’s larry ones. i’m just saying that instead of attacking him for his words, think about where he’s coming from. yes, what he said was awful and it was still an asshole move and i’m not trying to excuse him, but you can’t tell me that if someone kept repeatedly insisting something that you were tired of listening to, you wouldn’t snap and get angry too. hell, i’m all for making asian jokes against myself sometimes, but some people take things too far and i snap and get angry. louis might be all for making gay jokes and acting gay around the guys, but if a joke - or a theory, like larry - gets taken too far, he’s human, he’s allowed to get angry about it. maybe the words were written by management or maybe they were written by louis, either way the rumors and insistences about larry have gotten insane.

and the fact that most of the shit they have to go through is from the internet is even worse. think about it this way: every time you hate on eleanor/elounor or insist that their relationship is fake, it’s like if you were throwing a tomato at eleanor while she was holding louis’ hand - you might be aiming for eleanor and hoping to hurt her, but at the end of the day, louis gets hit by the splatter of your hate too and eventually he’s going to get tired of it.
